The Honorable Gregory W. Slayton
The Honorable Gregory W. Slayton is the Managing Director of Slayton Capital a small, and successful venture capital firm. Mr. Slayton is a former United States Ambassador, successful high tech venture capitalist and CEO, Ivy League and Peking University Professor and internationally best-selling author. Mr. Slayton has served on a number of well-known public and private Boards including Google and Salesforce.com. He has held senior executive roles in a number of global companies including Paramount Studios and McKinsey & Company. Mr. Slayton speaks five languages and has been designated a “Distinguished Foreign Expert” by the Government of China. Mr. Slayton also has deep connections in key parts of the US Federal Government.
Ambassador Slayton received his MBA from Harvard Business School and MA in Asian Studies as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of the Philippines.
Molly Coye, M.D.
Dr. Coye is an Executive in Residence at AVIA where she assists in building networks and strategies to accelerate the adoption of high-value innovations. Prior to AVIA, Dr. Coye was Social Entrepreneur in Residence for the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation (NEHI), a nonprofit national health policy institute. From 2010 – 2015, Dr. Coye was the Chief Innovation Officer for UCLA Health. She served as the Commissioner of Health for the State of New Jersey, Director of the California State Department of Health Services, and Head of the Division of Public Health Practice at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.
Dr. Coye received her M.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Lisa is Senior Managing Director, Healthcare at GE Ventures, which is the corporate venture capital arm of GE. Lisa also serves as Managing Partner, Venture Valkyrie LLC, a publishing and advisory firm and home of Venture Valkyrie blog and Tech Tonics podcast. Prior to Venture Valkyrie, Lisa was Managing Member, Psilos Group Venture Capital firm Lisa is co-author, with Dr. David Shaywitz, of the book Tech Tonics: Can Passionate Entrepreneurs Heal Healthcare with Technology. 2015: Named a Tech Superwomen in Forbes Magazine. 2014: Named as one of the Top 50 People in Digital Health by Rock Health, Goldman Sachs, Fenwick & West and Silicon Valley Bank.

Terry McGenney, M.D., MBA
Dr. Terry McGeeney is President of Care Accountability, Inc. and visiting scholar with the Brookings Institution. He combines thirty plus years of experience as a board-certified family physician with a solid and proven understanding of the fundamentals of business management, organization, and operations of health facility systems ranging from solo practices to large institutional systems. Dr. McGeeney is the founder and former President/Chief Executive Officer of TransforMED, where he pioneered the development of physician practice and organizational models for Patient Centered Medical Homes (PCMH). He is an Advisor for Healthcare Angels.
Dr. McGeeney received his MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

He has 25+ years experience as both business executive and strategy consultant to leading healthcare and healthcare technology organizations. David’s expertise is focused on hospital/physician integration models and organizational development, working with hospital/system boards, senior administrators, and physician leaders to design and implement new collaborative models for care delivery. Partner at SSB Solutions since 2004.
David received his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
